Foundation Proof Test #7

Hello everyone! I know that it has been more than a week since I last posted and I am very sorry for that .

Today as it is already known , we are going to put a foundation under proof test . The lucky one is the  " Maybelline Fit Me Matte&Poreless."
This foundation was all around social media when it came out . Most people really liked it ( specially for its affordable price and color range.) but, there were also those who were not big fans of it.
This foundation is a very very affordable makeup product , it ranges around $6 - $8 and it can be found very easily and in several tones.

The color tone that I chose was 128.  At the Maybelline webpage it says that the " Maybelline Fit Me Matte&Poreless."  is ultra-lightweight foundation that contains micro-powders that absorb oil for a matte and poreless-looking finish.Unique formula goes beyond matching just skintone and also matches the texture of normal to oily skin for the ultimate natural fit
Dermatologist and allergy tested, this mattifying foundation does not clog pores and is oil-free.

This is how I looked in the morning .

Instantly when I applied the foundation my skin looked a lot more smooth and my dark circles were pretty much covered,

I look kind of weird with only foundation jajaja so lets move forward .....

This is me once I finished my whole makeup and I am satisfied with the final look and how the foundation worked. It is very very very easy to apply and it is totally build able...  That day as most of my days I went to work , after that I did some errands and finally arrived to my house around 6 P.M.
look at how my foundation looked....

Pretty much it looked the same as it did in the morning!!! two hours after....

My face was flawless!!

I really liked this foundation .. it blends so easily and it is long lasting. It definately does what it claims and the price is so affordable ( some times the have a BoGo at certain drug stores.)
I do recommend to go and gran one of this foundations.

Overall ...

This foundation gets an 8 out of 10

why ?

Because I do like it a lot!!! But , I still like the L'oreal Pro matte a little bit more ( it looks more high end.)

but do not get me wrong this foundation has a very good quality and the price is the best part.

Pros:
- PRICE!!!!!
- Wide shade range.
-Easy to find in several stores.
- Very good Medium coverage.
-Long lasting.
-Makes your face look flawless.

Cons:
- Might not work for dry skin girls.

8.5 out of 10

Foundation Proof Test #6

Hello people ! Today is another day of our foundation proof test, this being our #6.
For this occasion our special guest is the L'oreal True Match Lumi.
This foundation can be found in almost every drug store and the price ranges around $10-$13.
The claims  of this foundation are to be Luminous and have a lightweight coverage but buildable and to las up to 8 hours. It also claims to be safe for sensitive skin.

Lets check it out!

Today I did my make-up in the afternoon . I started to apply my foundation around 3:30 P.M But, before that my face looked like this.

Pretty tired right?

Once I started to apply the foundation I noticed that it had a very liquidy consistency.
It applied smooth and quick, giving me a light to medium coverage. After I finished my makeup I did looked very luminous and I kind of liked it .

During the day I could feel my foundation which does not make it a " lightweight foundation"

It did stick around in my face for a while but after 4 hours it started to wear off.

At the end of the day it looked like this...

My nose had no foundation at all!!

It does not claim to be a super long wearing foundation but , at least in me it did not last up to 8 hours.

I did love the luminous finish ...

So overall, I give this foundation 7.5 points out of 10

Pros:
Healthy look
Several shades
Can be found in a lot of drug stores

Cons:
Price
Not long wearing at all!!

Foundation Proof Test #5

Hello Hello Hello!!! Today I have lots of energy and I am super excited to try this new foundation. It has been all over youtube and I could not resist trying it. Today for our  5th foundation proof test we are trying the new Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full coverage foundation.

This foundation claims to  be An ultra-lightweight, oil-free foundation concentrate that delivers 24 hours of full-coverage wear.( According to the sephora website) it retails for $55 and I am in the shade 22.

I started my day at 8 A.M in the morning and I washed my face, applied my moisturizer and after that my skin looked liked this.
Pretty dark under eye circles and a big pimple in my forehead , you can not see it in this picture but trust me it was there.
I applied my primer and then started to apply the foundation. The foundation was kind of heavy to apply , it did not move as easy as the Estee louder or the L'oreal pro matte. It did give me a super full coverage since the first application. This is how my face looks with the foundation only.

You can not see my dark spots at all! but I do not know if you can notice that it looks cakey. This foundation is not lightweight at all.
This is me onces I finished my makeup

It was definitely full coverage but lets check how it works during the day.
Right after I finished my makeup I went to work , The climate was pretty good and I did not do a lot of effort at work. Once I got out of my job I went home and pretty much rested the whole day .  I waited until the clock marked 11 P.M and I took a picture of my face .

Maybe it is not very noticeable but I am missing foundation from my nose , and you can start seeing the pimple in my forehead. It still did a good job but, for the price I expected more.

This foundation is not bad but, in my opinion it is not worth the money. There are other foundations that are cheaper and with a better quality.

PROS:
-Full coverage.
- Does not have parabens or sulfates.

CONS:
-Pricey.
- Not very long lasting.

Final Score
7.5 out of 10

Foundation Proof Test #4

Hello everyone! We are back with our fourth foundation proof test. Today is the turn of the super "Estee louder double wear" Foundation. I am in the shade Ivory Beige and let me tell you that this is one of the few foundations that match 100% my skin tone.

Estee louder is a prestige brand that it is recognize for the quality of the ingredients that their products have. This foundation retails for $38 and you can buy it online or at several stores where you can find prestige brands like Macys, Sephora, Bells.. etc.
The claims of this foundation are to be :
Long-wearing makeup with 15-hour staying power. Looks flawless and natural. Lasts through heat, humidity, non-stop activity.
Won't change color, smudge or come off on clothes. Feels lightweight and comfortable.( According to the Estee louder website.)
Now it is time to put it under the Proof Test.

Today I started my day pretty early and my skin looked like this .

As you can see I woke up pretty oily and with the regular dark under eyes.
I applied my moisturizer and my primer, after that I started applying the foundation . It went on smooth and with a very well medium coverage . My skin looked like porcelain . The only thing you could see through were my moles but no dark under eyes or spots. This foundation matched so so so so so so so well with my skin.
I finished my makeup and this is how it looked.

WOOW!  I really loved how this foundation felt and looked. Even thought it was a pretty medium to full coverage it doesn't feel heavy AT ALL! After I finished my makeup. I went and had lunch with my family from Monterrey and after that I went and did some shopping. I got home at 4 P.M
and my makeup looked like this.

Can you believe it? It looks exactly as hours ago! totally flawless.
After that I went to my job and unfortunaley I got home at 12 A.M and forgot to take a picture so that you guys could see how my foundation looked after hours.
Let me tell you there was no much difference on how it looked in the morning on how it looked at night.

This foundation really amazed me ! It is not a cheap foundation but it is totally worth every penny. It does what it claims. Your skin will look wonderful and I promise you will receive a lot of compliments.

PROS:
- Easy to apply.
- Medium to Full coverage.
-Long lasting.
- Sweat and climate proof.
- Flawless look.
-Color range.
-Good for any type of skin . ( If you are dry just make sure to use a hydrating primer.)

CONS:
- Does not have a pump.

Final Score
9.5 out of 10

Foundation Proof Test #3

Hello everyone , I hope that you have been having an excellent day so far.
Today is another opportunity to put a foundation under the super “Foundation Proof Test!!!! “

The foundation I chose today is the already famous Makeup Forever Ultra HD . This is the first High-End foundation I review in this series.
Let me start saying that this foundation has an awesome range of tones (40 shades) , mine is in shade 127. This foundation prices for $43 and can be found in Sephora and online.
The claims of this foundation are to be completely invisible under the latest, super-focused 4k lens, this revolutionary foundation features uniquely-coated pigments that provide medium to buildable coverage with an even lighter weight, second-skin texture that looks just like skin , according to the Sephora website.
I started my day at 6:00 A.M and as always first applied my moisturizer  then a primer.  My skin looked pretty much like this

I grabed my foundation and started to apply it with a beauty blender. I used three pumps to cover from my neck to my forehead. The application of this foundation is smooth but, not as smooth as the past 2 I have reviewed. It did apply pretty flawless and dried to a demi-matte finish.
Here is a picture of how the foundation looked by itself without powder or concealer .

The coverage is a good medium coverage. It did a good job covering my moles and undereye dark circles.  I continued to finish my makeup, and after that I went to work

After a long day at work I looked at my foundation and … OH NO! my nose was completely “foundation-free”. The camera did an excellent job capturing the absence of foundation around my nose.

The rest of my makeup looked okay but, it really scared me just to think abou how many people saw my  nose!

At the en of the day ( 10:30 P.M) I took another picture of my foundation and it looked  weird. The foundation  was missing from several parts of my face and lost some coverage.

After this long day , I give MUFE’s Foundation a 6 out of 10 .

Why?

Pros:
·      Photographs very smooth
·      Easy to apply
·      Good medium coverage
·      Can work for dry or oily girls.
·      Color Range.
Cons:
·      PRICE
·      It wears off pretty quick
·      It sits in lines of expression.
·      During the day it starts to sit and remark your dry patches

I really think this foundation is nice but… for the price I expected a better quality .

Foundation Proof Test #2

Hello everyone! We are back with our second foundation proof test. Today is the turn of the already well-known “L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte“ Foundation.

I have mine in the shade 105. This foundation claims to last up to 24 hours (Infallible.), and to be a medium demi-matte coverage.
One of the things I REALLY liked about this foundation it’s the presentation! It comes in a easy to squeeze tube. I love this because it is easy to control the amount you take out of the foundation and also less bacteria go into the foundation (because your fingers never touch the foundation inside the tube.) The price ranges around $9-$12 so it is in the high side of the drug store foundations cost but, lets check how it works during the day.

Here is my picture with no foundation; this was at 7:30 A.M.

As you can see my dark under eye circles are noticeable and I have a lot of dark spots to cover.

I started to apply the foundation with a beauty blender ( I use the beauty blender with all my foundations.) At first, I was pretty impressed with the coverage of this foundation . I continued applying and I was more impressed! This was a pretty more full than medium coverage. The application goes on easy and it does not leave dry patches  .
This is how my complete makeup looks with the “L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matt “ Foundation.

It covered my dark under eye circles ,and my face looks very smooth. It looks matte without looking cakey! Lets check how it goes during the day.

Today I went to church and after that I went to eat with some friends. The weather was a little bit hot ( around 81 F) . Then we made a 1 hour line to cross the border from mexico to the USA. So it was a busy day.

* The pictures for the end of the day look are having trouble to upload :(  (   Sorry )':   )

My foundation lasted all day!  I received several compliments and a lot of people asked me which foundation I was using.  The formula of this foundation is totally comparable with a High-End formula.
For the price , I would really recommend this foundation for those girls with oily skin.

Pros:
-Easy to apply.
- Presentation.
- Medium-Full Coverage.
-Lasts all day.
-Not cakey.

Cons:
-Price.
-Might not work for dry skin girls.
-Not a big variety of tones.

In my opinion this foundation gets a 9 out of 10 points!
